More shopping

Sorry everyone. I will share some fun projects again I promise. I have just been to Target a lot this week for some reason. They have just restocked their dollar section with some cool stuff so make sure you go check it out. I picked up some lacing beads, dinosaur magnets (my son will LOVE!) and some small letter blocks, for $2.50 each. I think I will save them for little stocking stuffers for Christmas.

These puzzles however have already been played with a lot. I love that there is no exact right answer. The pieces are all just squares or rectangles, so you can put the cars or animals together correctly, or if you want to be a little silly, you can mix and match and get some funny giggles from your kids when they put the elephant's head on the giraffe's body! There was also a girl one that had different outfits or something, but I just grabbed these two.

I love it when there are new things in the dollar section!

Darn it!! I looked for these this week, and ours were all gone!!! Guess that's what happens when you live in the child capital of the world: Utah. I'm sure they were snatched up the first day. I'm so sad! They look so fabulous and would make stocking stuffers! Thanx for telling us about them anyway...

Bummer! I could have just gotten lucky here too, as somehow I find myself at Target EVERY day. I am sure they will have some more cool stuff out soon!

Yep, it seems to be hit or miss, huh?! I did find some other items, like a CARS notepad and pencils and markers for my son, who loves to draw and write. I also found a small rolling pin for playdough, and some cute jump ropes. So, although I was disappointed, I ended up with at least something!
