Mardi Gras Masks
Hello again! This is just a quick post to let you know about a cute craft I just saw over at Just For Fun. Sandy has made some really cute Mardi Gras Masks with her girls today. I think I am going to try it with Aidan and Ella when they get up from nap. All you will need is a paper plate, scissors, little squares of tissue paper and some glue. If you have some fun sequins or glitter laying around, throw some on as well. Oooh...and I think I might let Aidan use his glitter glue too. I'll add pictures when we have our finished masks, but as for now, off to nap time!
Update:
Both kids really enjoyed making these masks this afternoon. For my three year old I gave him his glitter glue and let him put it where he wanted, and then decorate with tissue paper squares. For my 15 month old , I applied some glue with a glue stick and then let her put her tissue paper squares on. I did tape a popsicle stick to the back for Aidan to hold onto, we'll see how Ella does with the stick, or maybe we will punch some holes in the sides and add some yarn to go around her head.
Did anyone else make some masks today? Or do you have a festive craft you did with your children?
